This three-month-old puppy refused to be separated from his deceased brother after he was hit by a vehicle.

 

The devastated dog stayed with the puppy for two days until a kind-hearted person buried her.

Witnesses in Pixian county in southwestern China’s Sichuan province reported seeing two dogs, one gray and one brown, lying in the middle of the road

The brown puppy protected the gray’s body from being hit by any passing car by jumping and barking every time one approached.

They remained in the same position for many days until a person took them to a safe place on the side of the road.

Another member of the public then dug a hole to bury the gray dog. Even then, his brother rushed into the hole too reluctant to leave his companion.
